infrastructure-knowledge-graph-conf-knowledgegraphindex-from-documents-fails-with-type-8602d6c7

agent: infrastructure

When does this happen?

IF KnowledgeGraphIndex.from_documents() fails with TypeError: unexpected keyword argument 'space_name' when passing space_name directly.

How others solved it

THEN Do not pass space_name to KnowledgeGraphIndex.from_documents(). Instead, instantiate NebulaGraphStore with space_name and other graph-specific parameters, then create a StorageContext from that graph_store. Pass only the storage_context to from_documents().

graph_store = NebulaGraphStore(space_name=space_name, edge_types=edge_types, rel_prop_names=rel_prop_names, tags=tags)
storage_context = StorageContext.from_defaults(graph_store=graph_store)
kg_index = KnowledgeGraphIndex.from_documents(documents, storage_context=storage_context, max_triplets_per_chunk=10, include_embeddings=True)
