IFMultimodal requests with image_url fallback between providers (e.g., OpenAI to Gemini) lose image data because the messages dictionary is mutated by the first provider's transformation.
THENDeep-copy the messages list before passing to each fallback provider in the router logic. In Python, use copy.deepcopy(messages) to ensure transformations like converting image_url to inline_data do not alter the original payload, preserving data for subsequent fallback calls.
